Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. I thought the battles (X-Men vs the Horsemen) were well done & better than, say FIRST CLASS (Angel Salvadore vs Banshee was laughable! C'mon- did anybody really take seeing those two kids flying through the air like bugs, seriously???) but Apocalypse himself was rather LAME & dull, when compared to FC's Sebastion Shaw. At least Kevin Bacon is a seasoned veteran actor who knows how to convey real menace in playing a villian who can be believably threatening. Poor Oscar Issacs- I never even heard of this guy before APOCALYPSE & what I saw here was just plain…….B-O-R-I-N-G!!!! Maybe in another 10-15 years, he'll have learned HOW to play a convincing (Darth Vader, Khan Noonien Singh, or even the original Terminator) evil villain, possibly again in a future X-Men movie if…..???…they decide to even give him another chance by bringing back Apocalypse but for now, his portrayal in this movie is forgettable & belongs in the ash heap, right next to Spader's Ultron, YellowJacket or even that Zemo guy from CIVIL WAR!

there are some bad reveiws but i just watched the newest few and i can say this one was awesome. the best (my opinion) the end had me jumping back and forth in anticipation for every next moment def amazing highly recomend i wish i could give everyone who worked on this a high five

I thought Jean was unable to use her powers? Weren't they on lock down when they took her in as a kid? Wasn't the X-Men, Last Stand pretty much directed towards that and built on that storyline? That she only then was able to regain her powers? Anyways, answers oh pretty please?

I usually enjoy the philosophical and thought-provoking elements of X Men films like Days of Future Past and X2, this film was weaker in that respect imho.
an ignorant question for me who notes that Quicksilver is both in X Men and MCU … the Captain America/Hulk Marvel character live in a different fictional universe than Professor Xavier and Wolverine, don't they?
I remember that Wolverine fought the Hulk at some point in the comics, but in the film there seems to be a watertight bulkhead?

Thanks for this amazing series Bryan Singer… last stand wasn't yours but you repaid every mistake done and turned them into parts of a masterpiece in the days of future past!… as being a X-men fan I would like to watch new stories to tell especially with these new young group! Actor choice for Cyclops is amazing! Nightcrawler nailed it!
