I would call this man a traitor. Only people who've enjoyed the freedoms we have here for too long and take it for granted would say some of the things I've seen in these comments. None of these people here know what a real tyrannical government is. He faces a maximum prison sentence of ten years IF found guilty. Given he doesn't hire some bad ass lawyer which he probably would. You know what the sentence is in a real tyrannical dictatorship? Execution by firing squad or a beheading. Not lethal injection. Last I heard he's trying to get a pardon to come back. I think if this place is such a bad place he should stay in Russia and not come back to this piece of shit lol. I was born here into poverty as a result of civil war. Still the best place to be on earth. I rather be here in my house than wherever Edward is LOL.
They should make movie free, or pt i. on Netflix and others.

In all honesty I hate how Snowden was portrayed by US media whereas everywhere else in the world the media describes him as a hero. Still find it how ironic it is for him to seek asylum under a country that doesn't have democracy.
I wonder how much of this movie is actually true, am pretty sure there's still things that happened with Snowden that the government doesn't want us to know about
